Blu and his daughter are incredible tour guides and amazing drivers!!!
If you don’t already know, driving in Bali is like the wild west on an F1 track. I think there are four sets of stop lights in all of Bali, and lines in the road are to add colour. Don’t get me started with scooters passing on the right. All this to say, we NEVER felt unsafe when driving with Blu and his daughter.
Always on time, if not early, we were always greeted with giant smiles and a painstakingly clean vehicle. There was NEVER silence in the car as Blu was always ready to share the local lore, where to get the best food, and when to take a short stop on the way to the main destination to get pictures!
With his chess board in hand, he was never bored as he sat with locals waiting for us to enjoy our destination. In fact, Blu took part in 80% of our tours, again sharing his knowledge, as well as acting as our interpreter.
